Agregio is signing an exclusive framework aggregation contract for the projects being developed by JP Energie Environnement, a subsidiary of the Nass Group, which develops and runs wind farms and solar parks in France.
JP Energie Environnement is one of the successful bidders in the solar call for tenders issued by the CRE (the Commission de Régulation de l’Energie, French Energy Regulatory Commission).
According to this contract, Agregio will aggregate the production and capacity of all of the wind farms and photovoltaic solar parks currently being developed by JP Energie Environnement for 350 MW over 5 years. These farms and parks will start operating in stages, starting in summer 2018.
The tender put forward by Agregio helps the producer make use of the renewable electricity produced by these farms and parks, without having to manage the complexity of the market mechanisms. JP Energie Environnement will thus be able to enjoy a secure income in spite of the vagaries of changing market prices.
The contract adds to the 500 MW of flexibility and renewable output already optimised by Agregio, and will help achieve a volume of 1000 MW covered by contracts.
