Vattenfall Expands In Dutch Wind Farm

Vattenfall has increased its ownership in Wieringermeer wind farm with the acquisition of an additional 32 turbines in what will be the largest windfarm on the Dutch mainland. Vattenfall will own a total of 82 wind turbines out of 100 at the future Wieringermeer wind farm.

Northland Power Inc announced that the final turbine for the Nordsee One offshore wind project was successfully installed on September 22nd. The 332 MW offshore wind farm is anticipated to begin full commercial operations by the end of 2017.
