Global energy company Électricité de France (EDF) has signed an enterprise license agreement with software solution provider Ventyx to install its management software across EDF’s 435 hydro projects in France.
In addition, the software will also be deployed at energy developer’s 59 nuclear reactors and 15 fossil-fired power sites in the country.
With this agreement, EDF furthers its current license from 4,700 users to an unlimited number, providing a single software solution for all of its thousands of maintenance workers providing safety, reliability and efficient generation of power.
EDF Group SDIN Nuclear Technique directeur Jean-Marc Herodin noted: “Expanding our Ventyx EAM solution will underpin our commitment to ensuring not only worker and public safety, but also the reliable and efficient generation of clean, sustainable energy.”
Ventyz has already installed the solution at four nuclear sites and many of its hydro and fossil stations in the country.
