VSB Énergies Nouvelles, the French subsidiary of Germany-based VSB Group, has acquired nine wind energy assets, totalling 143.5 MW. The sites are located in six departments. VSB will manage and monitor the various stages of project development, carried out by ADE and 3N Développement, up to the ready-to-build stage.
Growth through partnerships and acquisitions is one pillar of the strategy pursued by VSB Énergies Nouvelles in France to reach its goal of being one of the top five French independent renewable energy producers. This agreement marks the beginning of a long-term partnership with a strong objective: to combine expertise in order to accelerate the commissioning of new renewable capacities and ultimately serve the energy transition in France.
The potential of these nine wind energy projects is a total of 37 wind turbines with a nominal capacity of 143.5 MW. The projects are located in the departments of Allier, Creuse, Isère, Oise, Pas-de-Calais and Puy de Dôme.
The projects were originally developed by the companies ADE and 3N Developpement. The assignment contract transfers all rights and obligations resulting from the lease agreements, the occupation agreements of the public domain and the deliberations of public authorities relating to the projects. VSB France will manage and monitor the various stages of development of the projects up to the ready-to-build stage.
“VSB, ADE and 3N Developpement share common values and the same desire: to actively participate in the energy transition while respecting the territories and local players,” explains François Trabucco, Managing Director of VSB Energies Nouvelles. “This is also the logic that VSB pursues through its six regional offices located in the heart of the territories,” he adds.
“3N Developpement is proud to be able to continue to grow with a partner like VSB, with whom we have a shared passion for the development of renewable energies,” continues Antoine Leclerc, Manager of 3N Developpement.
“Working with VSB for several years in a common desire for energy transition, it is with great pleasure that ADE, thanks to this operation, can continue its growth by strengthening a sustainable partnership,” concludes Antoine Pedersoli, President of SAS ADE.
